Last game of the season on 25th March !!!!! It couldnt be any tougher than against Ribbleton, quarter finalists in the LFA and pushing for the runners up spot in the league. They qwould also be after revenge after we pipped in the earlier fixture.
A very hot day didnt help but depsite the conditions a very good game of football took place. 0-0 at HT, but Ribbleton edged in front with Hines finishing well after a corner was cleared and the doubled their advantage after the impressive Cogle shot across Kingy into the bottom corner. 2-0. Thats how it finished. Congrats to Ribbleton who have had a tremendous season thusfar.
Another good performance from our lads  without reward. Hopefully next season we will instill a bit more belief in our lads and the rewards will follow. For now our fate lies in other's hands, lets see what fate brings us.
